Here is a pretty coffee and dessert set by Herend porcelain. The set consists of a coffee pot (with large coral rose finial), 5 cups, 6 saucers, a large oval platter and 6 matching plates in the “Rose Hip” pattern. The pieces are hand-painted in green and coral over a white background. They have basket weave edges and gold rims.
On the underside is the blue Herend mark and the imprint “#519 HEREND”
The coffee pot is 8 inches wide from the spout to the handle and stands 9 1/2 inches tall from the finial to the base. Each cup is 4 1/4 inches wide from the rim to the handle and is approximately 2 inches tall. The saucers are deep and each measures 5 3/8 inches wide. The platter measures 16 inches long X 11 1/4 inches wide and the plates are each 8 inches in diameter.
All pieces are in excellent condition, except for a small nick on the rose finial of the coffee pot. .
